Obituary
Ruby J. Smith, 78, passed away peacefully at home in Tangent.
Ruby is survived by daughter Carla Dickerson and her husband Henry of Tangent; sisters Della Rose, Mary Cupples, and Edna Pardy all of Arkansas; sister Mattie Lou of Memphis, Tenn.; brothers Benny Whitaker of Arkansas; and Sam Whittaker of Oregon.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Ruby Staggs; husband William, C. Smith; and son William R. Smith.
The family wishes to thank all the staff of Evergreen Hospice for all their loving care and support.
At Ruby's request there will be no service. Her ashes will be scattered at the Golden Gate Bridge.
Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements ( www.aasum-dufour.com ).
