Obituary
Samuel R. McDade, 53, passed away March 9 in his Albany home.
He was born in Tulsa, Okla., to Robert and Janice (Hagan) McDade. At age 8, he moved to Fairview Training Center and at age 28 to Eastern Oregon Training Center for 42 years. When EOTC was closing, he came to live in a Catholic Community Services group home in Albany in 2008.
During his final years, Sam enjoyed music and sports, hot rods, motorcycles and car shows. He spoke mainly with his eyes and expressions. The rumble of the hot rods and Harleys were his favorite sound.
He will be laid to rest at the Willamette Cemetery in Millersburg.
