Obituary

Sarah Lee Frazier, 89, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Mennonite Home.

Sarah was born in Audrain, Missouri, to Raymond and Mildred (Stewart) Pollard. She grew up in Missouri and graduated from Central High School in St. Joseph, Missouri, in 1942.

Sarah married Paul Villwock and they came out to Sweet Home, Oregon, where Paul made his living as a clock maker. Paul passed away in 1958.

Sarah married John Everett Frazier on Saturday, Sept. 19, 1959, in McMinnville. She worked as a secretary for the McMinnville School District and was an active member of the United Methodist Church. John preceded her in death in 1997.

Sarah enjoyed crafting, gardening and fishing. She also loved attending her grandchildren's events, being with her family and friends and going to the beach house in Pacific City.

She was a member of the Rainbows, Daughters of the American Revolution, P.E.O. and United Methodist Women. She also was involved with Habitat for Humanity and her church. Sarah was an avid fan of athletics of all types.

Sarah is survived by sons, Michael Frazier and wife Patti of Newport, Patrick Frazier and wife Marlee of Milwaukie, Timothy Frazier and wife Darlene of Gresham, and Joseph Frazier and wife Luane of Albany; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lila DeYoung.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19 at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home, 805 S.W. Ellsworth St., and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at Macy & Son Funeral Home, 135 N.E. Evans St., McMinnville. A Celebration of Life will be at 12:30 p.m. at the McMinnville Cooperative Ministries Church, 544 N.E. Second St., McMinnville. Private burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity or the "TopCatClub," in care of the funeral home.
