Sebastian Oscar "Ozz" SeidaNov. 25, 1922 - March 14, 2010 Sebastian Oscar "Ozz" Seida, 87, died Sunday from a short illness. Ozz was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and moved to the Portland area in elementary school. He graduated from Milwaukie Union High School in 1941 and worked his way through college at the University of Oregon, where he graduated with an accounting degree in 1947. He worked for Crown Zellerbach Paper Company from 1947-1961 in the Portland and Lebanon offices. Ozz became a CPA and moved to Albany in 1961 where he worked for Warner, Phillips and Seida, CPAs, for many years. He worked briefly for the Dorsey Bus Company before returning to his CPA private practice in Albany where he remained until 2008. He retired in 2008 at the age of 86. Ozz was a golf caddy as a young boy and went on to become an excellent golfer. He played for the University of Oregon Golf Team and enjoyed many years of golf with his friends at the Spring Hill Country Club. He also enjoyed playing bridge with his wife, Dorothy, at the Albany Senior Center. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Dorothy; son Greg and wife Mary Beth Seida of Monroe; daughter Charlotte and husband Larry McLaughlin of La Grande; stepsons Ed and wife Diana Koelling of Boring and James and wife Norvella Koelling of Yamhill; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; seven siblings; and stepson Sam Koelling. At Ozz's request there will be no funeral services. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home handled the arrangements (
