Shirley Jean Warren, 84, died peacefully Saturday at home.
She was born in Salem to Ferdig and Tillie Hall.
On Nov. 27, 1947, she married her lifelong love, Robert C Warren. Together they raised two children.
Shirley was an avid gardener, making her home a showplace of the neighborhood. She was also a gifted artist and had done some tinting of black and white portraits. She was the light of her whole family and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is now at peace with our Lord.
Survivors include husband of 64 years, Robert, son and daughter-in-law Gary and Julie Warren, daughter Cheryl Warren, and grandsons Karl and Andrew Warren, all of Albany; and granddaughter Kym Shepard and great-grandchildren Athena Collins, Kendra Collins and Robert Collins of Lafayette Colo.
Viewing and celebration of life will be from noon to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.
