Susan Joyce ForrestJune 2, 1950 - Feb. 17, 2010Susan Joyce Forrest, 59 of Albany, passed away Wednesday at her home. Born in Salem, OR., Susan had a varied career that took her to California, Nevada, and Washington.This sweet, generous woman had a strong will that enabled her to survive many challenges.  By choice, she died at home, of C.O.P.D.She is survived by her mother Florence Forrest, siblings Sandra Fritz, Stanley W., Sheryl, and Scott Forrest.  Many nieces and nephews and her best friend and companion, her cat Frankie.  She was preceded in death by her father Stanley J. and two infant brothers.At her request no service will be held.  Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice or charity of the donors choice.  AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements.  ( www.aasum-dufour.com )
