Susan Marie Ippoliti Aug. 2, 1932  -  May 9, 2010Susan Ippoliti, 77, of Albany, died sunday at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.She was born in Pittsfield, Mass.,  to Charles and Anna (Braz) Gomes.    She graduated from  High School in Pittsfield.                        Susan married James Ippoliti June 21, 1952, at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Pittsfield.  In addition to Massachusetts, the family lived in South Carolina,   California, Texas, Nevada, Maryland and Oregon, as well as England, Germany, Iran and Trinidad.She enjoyed sewing and quilting.  She was a good wife and devoted mother and grandmother.She is preceeded in death by her daughter,  Pamela.Susan is survived by her husband, James; sons Charles of Corvallis and James A. of Albany; and granddaughter Sarah Ippoliti of Corvallis.     The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society        in lieu of flowers.  No public services are scheduled. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
