Thelma L. White, 96, of Hillsboro, formerly of Albany, passed away Monday evening at her home.
She was born in Abilene, Kan., to Charles and Lena (Blair) Foust. She married Frank D. White in August 1946 in Tangent.
Thelma was a homemaker at their home on Calapooia Street and then on Lone Oak Lane in Albany. They moved to Crooked River Ranch in 1976 and Thelma moved to Hillsboro in 1997 to be near her daughters and grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed sewing and bowling.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Tony Dunham of Hillsboro; four grandsons, Scott Dunham and wife Mackenzie, Christopher Dunham and wife Angela, James Dunham and wife Theresa, and Tim Dunham and wife Camille; and nine great-grandchildren. Thelma was one of 10 children and is survived by one sister, Anne in Prescott Valley, Ariz.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 2, at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Albany.
