Thomas Charles Schwab September 15, 1946 - March 16, 2018

Thomas Charles Schwab, 71 of Albany, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House.

Tom was born in Concord, California to Ralph and Evelyn Schwab. He grew up in Albany and graduated high school here.

During his working life, Tom spent 38 years working for Golden-West as a mobile team leader.  In his free time, Tom enjoyed playing poker and watching the 49ers play football.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Evelyn.

Tom is survived by his wife, Linda; brothers, Allen and David; children Ronnie, John (Shirley), and Theresa; step-sons Todd and Troy; grandchildren Boone, Ramses, Kyle (Jenn), Tyler (Ariel), Alisha, and Sierra (Steven); and great-grandchildren Kyler, Kyson, Wesley, Olivia, and Scarlett.

He was an inspiration to everyone around him.  He was always willing to help others.  Tom was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was the most wonderful man on Earth.

A simple gathering will take place at from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home.
