Tinna Lynn Wibbens-Om, 38, of Albany passed away Thursday at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.
Tinna was born and raised in Albany to Robin and Linda Wibbens. She attended school in Albany, graduating from South Albany High School in 1992.
On Aug. 6, 2005, she joined her life in marriage to Michael Om and together began raising a family.
Over the years she held several jobs including positions at Ping's Garden, Stone Forest Industries, Sears and Hewlett-Packard. Her last years were spent as full time caregiver to her children, grandmother, nieces and nephews.
Tinna was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was best known for her abundant generosity and her fiery spirit. She enjoyed summer barbecues, annual hunting trips and coast outings. Her hobbies were reading, shopping, cooking, baking, softball and doing arts and crafts.
Her great passion in life was her family and she valued it above all things. Over night sleepovers, back yard camp outs, make shift drive-in movies, card nights, game nights and birthday "blow out" celebrations were a constant occurrence in her household. She deeply cared for and protected all those in her life. All of Tinna's days were spent living for and looking after the family she so dearly loved.
She is survived by husband Mike Om; children Daryll Kay, Joesph Mykel and Benjamin Tae Wibbens-Om; parents Robin and Linda Wibbens; brothers Ardy Wibbens and Ryan Wibbens; sisters Lisa McConnell and Robbin Wibbens; sister -inlaw Angela Wibbens; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. today at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home in Albany. Burial will follow immediately at Willamette Memorial Park in Albany.
