Valentin "Val" Duran, a beacon of unwavering optimism and courage, left this world on January 8, 2026, in Albany, Oregon, after a brave battle with an illness. Born on April 4, 1967, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Val's life was a testament to the power of positivity and the strength of the human spirit.
Val's journey through life was marked by a kindness that drew people to him. He was a man who saw every sunset as a moment to be grateful for the day's blessings.
He cherished the moments spent in the company of family and friends, whether it was a simple backyard barbecue or cheering on his beloved professional sports teams, Lakers, Dodgers and Rams.
