Valorie Delores McKinney was born on November 16, 1930 in Coquille, OR to Earl Joe McKinney and Electa Olive Griffin. She had four brothers. Valorie was later married to Walter Aulman in Millersburg, OR. She was married by Joseph Hortsch, her grandson-in-law.
Valorie loved to go bowling and fishing and enjoyed crocheting. She was a Mary Kay consultant which she loved very much. Later in life, she moved to Clayton Meadows. She enjoyed her time there and made many new friends. She loved the coloring group as well as the manager and staff who were so good to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Richard McKinney.
Valorie is survived by four daughters: Sandra Nelson and husband Clarence, whom she lived with in Albany, OR, Jeanette Heath of Ukiah, CA, Michelle Koster of Bend, OR, and Jan Remund of Bend, OR; brothers Jerry (Carol) McKinney of Canyonville, OR, Louis (Jeanette) Kinzer and David (Sherry) Turpin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 25 great great-grandchildren.
Valorie requested to not have a funeral service but a celebration of life service will be held at a later date and time. She will be reunited with her mother and brother Richard in Masonic Cemetery in Canyonville, OR.
