Obituary

Velma Elizabeth Lienhart, 95, of Albany passed away on Sunday at her home.
Velma was born in Albany to William Grant and Mary Elizabeth (Faulkner) Williamson. She attended Albany Union High School, Phagans Beauty School, Merritt and Davis Business College and Linn-Benton Community College and took classes in home nursing care.
Velma worked for Colyer's Motor Supply Co. of Salem for 3 1/2 years, Claude Burge Contractor of Albany, and Wah Chang, where she retired.
She enjoyed trips to the coast, crocheting, sewing, reading, traveling, and visiting with friends and relatives. She was also an amazing cook. She belonged to the morning star grange in Millersburg for over 35 years and the Eagles Lodge from 1968 to 2015.
Velma is survived by son Victor Wright, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren and one stepdaughter-in -law.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dan Lienhart; brothers Ralph Williamson and his wife, Elvira, and Grant Williamson.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Willamette Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to Morning Star Grange in care of the funeral home.
