Virginia Elaine Davis

Virginia Elaine Davis, age 96, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 7, 2015.
She was born in Halsey on March 9, 1919.
She married John Raymond Davis on July 15, 1939. She was the mother of five children.
Virginia moved to Albany in 2012 after residing in Roseburg for over 60 years. She was a resident of the Villas and most recently of Wynwood Assisted Living.
Virginia was loved by many family members and a multitude of friends; she will be sorely missed. Her smile and love for every day of life was contagious,
Virginia is survived by daughter Charlotte Miller; son Eldon Davis and wife Michele; daughter Pam Akers and husband Terry; daughter Penny Nading and husband Mike; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Raymond; daughter Tamara Wallick; sons-in-law Wally Miller and Larry Wallick; and great-granddaughter Brandi Gilkison.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at First Assembly in Albany.
Private family burial took place at Pine Grove Cemetery.
