Wally Malone was born in Mountain Grove, Missouri to Chester "Allen" and Lenna "Grace" Malone.
His family moved to Seattle, Washington as a child and lived there through his teenage years. He served in the Naval Reserves.
When growing up in Seattle, Wally used to go to the hydroplane races with his lifetime friends Tommy (Joann) Broughton.
He then moved to Corvallis and was the owner of Waucomah Auto for 36 years.
During that time he married his beloved wife Sybil and they shared 27 years of adventures. Wally and Sybil loved to go fishing and camping. He enjoyed playing poker at Black Diamond poker room in Millersburg and other casinos in the area and in Reno, Nevada. He also like to read books on his Kindle.
Wally and Sybil have ten grandchildren - Ross-Allen, Megan, Torrey, Chelsea, Lowden, Avery, Jade, Taylor, Jordyn and Keegan and three great-grandchildren - Zayn, Alice and Lydia.
Wally was an extraordinary person. He always went out of his way for others. He had many lifetime friends, he loved his family and will be missed by all.
He is survived by wife, Sybil; sons Lee (Linda) Baumgart, Jeff (Juanita) Baumgart and Jeff (Amber) Malone; daughter Shannon (Ross) Geomans; sister Sharron Kay; his ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. on November 26 at Riverside Grange in Albany.
