Smith, 93, of Albany passed away Monday at Regency of Albany.He was born in Morland, Kans., and moved to Albany in 1942 with his new wife, Harriet Dunning. Weston retired in 1972 and took up traveling and dancing and won many awards for his patterns and choreographed dance routines all around the world from Singapore to Brazil.  He will be remembered all around town as the man who played the castanets and wore the white cowboy hat.  He will be missed by all.Weston is survived by his four daughters, Leona Price Hill of Albany, Leta Trask of Eugene, Donna Smith Lee of Hermiston, and Deloris Bennett of Bremerton, Wash.; Harriet of Albany; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.A visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday and a celebration of life will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with a reception to follow. AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home is handling arrangements.  ( www.aasum-dufour.com )
