William E. Machette Sr.Aug. 31, 1920 - Feb. 14, 2008William E. Machette Sr., 87, of Albany died Thursday in Albany.William was born in Kelso, Wash., to Frank E. and Bonita (Bouchet) Machette.He servied in the U.S. Army during World War II.William was a retired auto mechanic. He had lived in California, Nevada and in Albany since 1983.Survivors include daughters MaryAnn barton of Albany and Suzan Spiors; son Wililam E. Machette Jr. of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
