He died as he lived, everyone's friend.
William Perry Olsen "Oli" was born in Oak Park, Illinois, to Weston and Bernice Olsen.
He grew up younger brother to George Olsen, twin to Bobby Olsen, and older brother to Sherry Goff.
He graduated Oklahoma University with a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering and as collegiate swimmer. He served his country as a Captain in the US Air Force prior to spending life in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he designed and built passive solar homes and became father to Sean Olsen.
After 41 years of life in New Mexico, he enjoyed his last couple months living with his son in Oregon where he peacefully passed from his battle to cancer Friday, June 26, 2015.
He is survived by son Sean Olsen and granddaughters Kaytlynn, and Shylene.
