Bill T. Thibodeaux, 70, of Albany passed away Thursday at his home.
He was born and raised in Vancouver, Wash., the son of Thurston and Pauline (Patterson) Thibodeaux. Bill graduated from Fort Vancouver High School in 1959 and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force that same year. While he was stationed in Oklahoma, Bill met and married Patricia Ann Hamilton in Cordell, Okla., on April 19, 1963. The couple then moved to Michigan where Bill was stationed at Wurtsmith Air Force Base and was discharged from there in 1967. They then moved to Owego, N.Y., where Bill worked for IBM until the summer of 1969 when they moved back to Vancouver, Wash. They came to Albany in 1992 where Bill worked in electronics in the lumber industry.
Bill enjoyed wood carving, fly fishing, flying model airplanes and astronomy. He was a member of the Elks, Ducks Unlimited and the Corvette Club. Bill will be missed for his free technical support for neighbors, friends and family.
