William Harold Willhite, 62, of Corvallis, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2022. William was born December 8, 1959, in Hanford, California, to William Monroe Willhite and Alice Elnora (Kiner) Willhite.

William left home at a young age to join the U.S. Navy. He served honorably in the U.S. Navy for 4 years. After leaving the Navy, he returned to his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, to help care for his father in his older age. During this time, he also attended Friends University and obtained his bachelor's degree in Education. After his father's passing, he moved to California and taught school for several years. William loved to hunt, fish, listen to music, and enjoyed spending time with family & friends.

He is survived by his two brothers, Truman (Cynthia) Willhite and Alvin (Tami), and two sisters, Marsha (Brad) Meyer and Aleta Irvan. William was preceded in death by his parents, William Monroe Willhite and Alice Elnora (Kiner) Willhite; five brothers, Larry, Jerry, Marvin, John, and Calvin Willhite; and one sister, Marjorie Willhite.
