Gregory Lyle Inman

Our loving husband, father, and grandfather, Greg L. Inman passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2020.  He had just celebrated his 69th birthday. 

Greg was born on July 9, 1951, in Salem, Oregon, and was the eldest of four children.  Other than a few years in Dallas and Keizer, Oregon, he lived the rest of his life in Albany. 

Greg worked as a commercial fisherman for several years in his youth and then moved to the logging industry.  He never missed an opportunity to cheer on his children or grandchildren in their passions - and he found every opportunity to take photos of cherished moments. His greatest love was his family and the beloved Pacific Ocean.  Greg and his wife Lynne were one day shy of celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary.

Greg is survived by his wife Lynne; sons Lyle (Anna), Jeffrey (Samantha); daughter Jennifer "Jenny"; and granddaughters Hannah Thornburg, Cassidy Inman, Lindsay Inman, and Natalie Inman. 

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at AAsum-Dufour Funeral Home for immediate family. Greg will have one last adventure at sea with his beloved family at a later time.
