Joseph Lee Wade, age 48 passed away July 30th 2022 in his home surrounded by family & friends after a 4 month battle with lung cancer. Joe was born February 26th, 1974 to Buck & Sue Wade in Baker City, Oregon. As a child at age 14 he relocated to Albany to be with family.
He is survived by his mother Sue Boone; sister & brother in law Sherrie and Bill Sutherland; Sister in law, Lisa Anderson; Nephews Brandon Murphy, Devon & Zach Wade & Kody Haney; Nieces Christi Emerling & Cinnamon Taylor; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. He is proceeded in death by Wife, Evette Wade who was his entire world; Brother/Best friend, Thomas Wade; Father, Buck Wade; Step Father, Jack Boone; Aunt, Patty Hesseltine and niece, Lischelle Shipton.
Joe never had children of his own and portrayed he didn’t care for them however he played a very large roll in raising and making sure his nieces and nephews had everything they ever needed or wanted.
He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone, especially his family. Although a bit rough around the edges, he had a great sense of humor that will be missed by all that knew him. Joe was an incredibly hard worker and animal lover. He especially had a fondness for dogs and never met a one that didn't love him within minutes.
Above all he was an amazing brother, his sister Sherrie and him did all things together from working, living together & vacations. They were born to be best friends.
Joe will be missed by all who met him.
We will be hosting a Luau in his honor Saturday August 27th from 4pm-Whenever at 30766 Santiam Highway, Lebanon, Oregon 97355.. Anyone and everyone is welcome no matter how long or short you’ve known Joe. He was loved by many.
