Lillian M. Sadowsky-Splichal, 96 of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Lillian was born on August 17, 1924, in Dickinson, North Dakota to Louis and Katherine Binstock (Bren). She grew up in Dickinson, North Dakota, and married Edward Sadowsky on October 6, 1942. Lillian, Edward, and the children moved to Oregon in 1949. Edward passed away in 1987. Lillian married Steve Splichal on June 21, 1997.
Family was very important to Lillian. She was an amazing cook and could whip up dinners like no other. She also loved going to her favorite restaurants followed by long drives either in town or out in the country. She enjoyed day trips to Spirit Mountain Casino just because she was feeling lucky.
Lillian is preceded in death by her parents; husband Edward L. Sadowsky; husband Steve P. Splichal; son-in-law William S. Wilt; sisters Mildred Privratsky, Minnie Privratsky, Rose Steffan, Dorothy Kostelcky, Martha Dukart, Katherine Buresh, Josephine Privratsky, and Anna Privratsky.
She is survived by son Ron (Linda) Sadowsky; daughter Diane Wilt; son Dennis Sadowsky; and daughter Pam (Tim) Rediger; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank all of Lillian's caregivers. They appreciate how they gave loving care and attention during this time.
A memorial mass will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Albany at 11 am on Friday, February 19, 2021.
