Linnie Wilburn Townlin, 84, of Albany passed away on Saturday at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.
Linnie was born in Seymour, Missouri, to Charles and Erma (Bookout) Townlin. He graduated from Shedd High School and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1951. He served until his retirement as a technical sergeant in July of 1971. He married Earline Menard.
Linnie is survived by wife Earline Townlin of Albany; son Tracy and wife Tracy Bentley-Townlin of Albany; daughter Gwindolyn and husband Finis Logue of Troutdale; brother John Blackford of Albany; and grandchildren Nicholas Jansen and Tasha Jansen; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 20, at the funeral home with a graveside service at 11 a.m. Friday, March 27, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
