James has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 30 years. He has served the communities of Lebanon, Tigard, Keizer, Salem, Eugene, and his hometown of Albany. He attended schools in Albany and Corvallis. James has been married to his wife Kristal, for 31 years. They attend Neighborhood Church in Albany , and have two grown daughters. James is the middle of three boys. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandsons. James is a member of Takena Kiwanis Club (past president), Greater Albany Rotary Club (board member), Albany TLT Advisory Committee, Habitat for Humanity (board member), and Willamette Memorial Park (board member). He is a past member of New Business Generation club of Albany (past President), and served on the CARA Advisory Board for several years. James is a 2016 Leadership Albany graduate.
James is also the drummer and a vocalist with the Southern Crossing Band.

Kristal is a licensed funeral director and licensed life insurance agent. She graduated from West Albany High School and Linfield College. Kristal has been married to her husband James for 31 years. They attend Neighborhood Church in Albany, and have two grown daughters. Kristal is Immediate Past Chair of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce, past board member for Friends of the Family Ministries, past President of Mid-Willamette Family YMCA, board member of Mennonite Village Foundation, and board member of the Oregon Funeral Directors Association as well as a member of the National Funeral Director Association Policy Board. Kristal is a 2015 Leadership Albany graduate. She enjoys scrapbooking, reading, working in the yard and spending time with her grandsons and family.
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Guinevere has been a licensed Mortician for nearly 20 years
here in Oregon, serving in the Portland Metro area and Lincoln City for most of
her career. She is also trained as a crisis counselor, volunteering then
becoming a supervisor at the National Suicide Hotline for years as well as
volunteered at local homeless shelters. A graduate from the small business
management program at Oregon Coast Community College in 2019 and currently
continuing her education in business ownership. Guinevere owns a small business
making keepsakes made with cremated remains called Resin Remembrance LLC. Her
dream is to become a Chaplain for local law enforcement. Her adult son lives in
Portland also working in funeral service. Her passions are helping others, spending
time with family & friends, exploring local areas, theme parks (favorite is
Disneyland), documentaries, animal lover, creating keepsakes and learning.
